Steps to write an impresive resume:
1. Write in a Single format:
The first important step for writing an impressive resume is to maintain a selected format. If a resume is written more than one style, it is often going to create confusion and a bad impression. Switching between writing formats is explained below,
Eg: if one has started writing resume as bullet points and then suddenly one switches and starts highlighting or making the words bold or italics or follows any other style, the format changes. The practice of switching between formats must be strictly avoided.
2. Understand position: A job-seeker may have multiple skill-set which might be add-on or may not add any value for a particular job position. The job-seeker must be able to understand the difference between the skill-set that will add value to the job position and the one that will add no value to the position. The job-seeker must mention only those skill-sets in the resume which are relevant to the position for which the job-seeker has applied.
